PARTY!!!!
School is out and I couldn't be happier! Not that you could tell by me yelling at the kids at the park today, but I am. We finished school off with a picnic at the park and a few hours of play to celebrate. I can't wait to sleep in and not make lunches for a few months;)!!! Maybe even have some time to scrapbook. Who knows, I may even catch up on my blogs.

Someday She WILL laugh
Someday Harley will have a good laugh at herself, if I record it. So here I go... I am driving back from the post office today and I get a call. "Mom can you hurry home?!"
Me "I'm almost there, what's wrong?" thinking she is scared.
Harley "I just need you here. Noah is being a pill. We are playing school and he wouldn't do what I said and threw a fit and now we can play." sobbing
Me "well it's time to clean it up."
Harley "I got all this school stuff for no reason. I can't play school anymore. I told everyone at school today that I had the best student ever, Noah. And he is being AWFUL!!" more sobbing
Me "I'll talk to you when I get home bye!"
I get home and she sobs for a good 1/2 hour over her wayward student. How embarrassing that she told everyone he is a star pupil. What a ruff life.

Albuquerque Zoo
Noah's class got to take a field trip to the Albuquerque Zoo this year (it is a third grade tradition that got skipped Harley's year, and we got to explore Hog Back instead. It went over well). Noah loved to look at and read all about all the animals. It was a fun day. We opted to drive down with our friends Laura and Gunnison Lowe. It was much better then the bus, we got to leave later in the morning and take off earlier then the bus. I was a fun day,

Easter
Better late then never. It has become a tradition to get the cousins together to color eggs. I love this tradition! The kids will have so many good memories from it. Now for some reason that escapes me at the moment, we colored the eggs at Brittani's house this year. I am definitely not on top of things and she even boils my eggs for me. But no matter where we color eggs the kids have a blast. One of the highlights this year was the face eggs I got. They came with fun faces and hats you could put together to get some silly looks. A hit with the kids. Then a few days later the Easter Bunny visited and we got together for dinner and an egg hunt at Brittani's house.

A glimps at the end of the school year craziness
This is why I can't wait for summer to come and to have nothing to do. It in nothing but madness at the end of the year. Last week I had two out of town, early morning to late evening field trips with dance pictures thrown in the mix. This week I subbed Monday and Tuesday. Today I get to go to the "I got IT" film with Harley and take dessert in for the teachers for teacher appreciation week. Friday I get to go on a field trip with Jamison. There is scouts, activity days and dance this week (which I'm in charge of scouts this month). Father's and Son's this weekend (which may end up as a hunting trip for turkeys instead). Next week There is scouts dance (twice to rehearse for recital), and field day. I'm sure the school will add in more. And hopefully and new nephew!!! Then dance twice again and dress rehearsal this time. Scouts and activity days. Recital TWICE on Saturday and I have to pay each time I go, LAME. Scott has a concealed weapons class. Not sure what all will be added for school, but there is always something. The last week of school is awards assembly (hopefully the kids will be at the same time), pack meeting and then Wednesday is half day!!!! I can't wait to be done, but then in June I get to spend THREE, count them three, glorious day at Scout camp for 8 hours with over 100 boys. Yeah me!
